How to make
One of the most handy and peculiar devices for brewing coffee
300 ml
20 gms
Take about 20 gm coffee and grind it medium-fine, a bit finer than that for V60 and a notch coarser than that for Moka Pot.
Turn the plunger upside down, fit the cylinder on top and add coffee grounds to the cylinder.
Heat about 250 gm water to not more than 87 degree in a kettle. We have seen better results at this temperature. A higher temperature usually gives a bitter cup of coffee. Pour in 140 gm water and make sure grounds are properly wet.
Stir 2-3 times. Place the paper filter on to the cap and wet it before fitting the cap to the cylinder.
Place the coffee mug upside down on to the cap and turn the Aeropress upright. Press the plunger slowly all the way down. This process should take 20-30 seconds.
Pour it into a warm cup and add 100 gm water from the kettle. Do not reheat the kettle. The water temperature must have dropped a few degrees. Your coffee is ready to drink!
